TMDA works by requiring unknown senders
to confirm messages sent to your account. Each TMDA account maintains a
list of whitelisted email addresses which do not require confirmation.
For example, potential@customer.com
would like to know if you have any of her favorite product in stock.
If you do, potential@customer.com would like
to order 4. So potential@customer.com
visits your website, finds your TMDA protected email address, and sends off
a message to you.
The process may sound confusing, but it's really not. To see for yourself, just send an email to solutions@standblue.net. This address has TMDA installed on it, so you will receive a confirmation request immediately after you send the email. Once you reply to the confirmation request you will receive a second email back notifying you that your message has been accepted. Return to Antispam. |
